THE FALL

Le styling debut. The first time I have ever styled a shoot as well as did hair and makeup. I sourced the clothing from new e- store Eocene. Eocene is the exclusive stockist for Opening Ceremony, Timo Weiland,  Jonathan Simkhai and  Peter Jenson in Australia. They were also recently named in the top 9 best new online stores by Vogue Australia! So if I was you I would check them out.. heres the link http://www.eocene.com.au/ you can thank me later.

Being very driven (pun intended) in what I wanted to use I found myself driving 3 hours north ( 6 hours in total) in order to be able to lend the pieces. Thankfully I love a road trip as much as the next person.. in the dark and on dirt roads I might add.. still it was worth it.

We were lucky to be able to work with the amazing Natalie Sole from Division Model Management, who has also been placed with Wilhemanas in New York. One.to.watch.

To capture Natalie we again teamed up with top fashion photographer David Hauserman (who I like to call the king of lighting secretly behind his back) his perfectionism in lighting is incredible. David has shot editorials for YEN, Frankie Magazine, Spook, Womens Health and many camapaigns/lookbooks. http://davidhauserman.com/

As many of the Eocene pieces I had been planning to use were tied up ( on racks ) in the showroom in Sydney, we asked Alina from IINCO to work in some samples from her SS15 range. IINCO is an exciting new label that embodies high- end contemporary style. Alina is also an accomplished stylist, and even came along on the day to help style her pieces. http://www.iinco.bigcartel.com/

As you can see the editorial turned out amazing - I couldnt be happier with how it turned out. x

WALKING ON A DREAM

The perfect title for this editorial for YEN Magazine as it felt like just that.  With more relevance to the word dream - we also had a dream team on board.

I wanted to create a very "wide eyed" look and used MAC false lashes on the top and bottom of Amy's eyes. As I wanted to keep the focus on the eyes I only applied a very sheer wash of foundation. I used YSL touche eclait and MAC Face and body on Amy's skin.

RVCA - ROAD TRIPPIN'

I have been working on so many Campaigns and Editorials recently, and I can't wait to show you.

Here is a sneak peek of a recent Campaign for RVCA Summer 2014 which will be out in October '14. Look out for it in Store windows around Australia.

We spent the day driving around Ballina and Byron Bay in a combie van stopping at some rad locations on the way.

LIKE A ROLLING STONE

When I think of the Rolling Stones I can't help but think of Byron Bay at the same time... You see the first time I ever went to the Byron Bay Markets amidst the crowds, long hair,  and stifling heat,  the sound of "Miss You" by the Rolling Stones filled the air. I instantly felt like I had been transported back to the mid 70's (or what I imagine it would have been like) and I imagine it would have been great.

" Like a Rolling Stone" was of course written and produced by Bob Dylan, but Jimmi Hendrix also later did a cover..so you can see where I am heading with this.

Last year I worked with Amilita for their "Like a Rolling Stone" Winter 2014 Campaign, which ironically, was shot in Byron Bay. So I couldn't think of a better way to bring you Amilita x the stones all rolled into one.
